If you take a Pedal Steel Guitar and a Hammond organ out of their idiosyncratic contexts, they suddenly sound strange together. An unlikely chemistry of proto-electronic sound emerges. Guitarist Filip Wauters and pianist Frederik Croene start from a drone concept to match their widely differing musical backgrounds. Started during a residency in Ghent's Miry concert hall on the pipe organ, they are now exploring the possibilities working with a movable Hammond organ.
